Paulina first award was presented by Katie Bibish representing Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur. Katie presented Paulina with a plaque from Marcy Kaptur. On the floor of the United States House of Representatives Marcy had Paulina‘s achievements recorded into the official record of the House of Representatives. A rare honor, but one she justly deserves.

A Proclamation to Paulina and the Echoes of Poland for outstanding contribution to the city of Toledo and Ohio for 40 years, from Mayor Carleton S. Finkbeiner was presented by Toledo City Council President, Mark Sobczak.

A certificate of achievement from the Arts Commission of greater Toledo was presented by Claire Kirsner, President of the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo.

Walter Palicki, representative of the Toledo Poznan Alliance, presented Paulina with a plaque from the Toledo Sister Cities International, for her many years of hard work, dedication to the presentation and preservation of the Polish culture.

The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America honored Paulina with a plaque for her service and achievement. This plaque was presented by National Directors, Joan Sylak, Tom Lisiecki and Basia Toboy (also an Echoes member).

Paulina was also honored with many bouquets of flowers and gifts from the past and current dancers. We feel this is just a small token of our love and appreciation to this woman who has given her time, money, and talent to keep our beautiful culture alive and thriving in the Toledo area.
